Measuring Progress
As part of MAPC's committment to implementing MetroFuture, we are regularly monitoring the progress of the region toward our goals. This will help us make sure that we are on track to achieve a Greater Boston region by the year 2030. This measurement follows two tracks: assessing how we're doing as a region and as an organization.
The region's progress towards achieving MetroFuture's 65 goals and objectives will be measured by tracking specific indicators for each. These "regional indicators" will help us answer "How is the region doing?"
MAPC's effectiveness as a catalyst for change is the other track of measurement. We will be assess this by tracking the ways in which we as an organization are working to achieve MetroFuture's goals and the success - or failure - we are experiencing. This evaluation will help us answer "How is MAPC doing?"
